The Last Quiet Thing

Anyone who knows me knows how much I like the saying “the things you own often end up owning you”. I typically thought about this in relation to material items and didn’t appreciate how much it needed to be applied to our modern day high-tech devices as well. It’s so important to be thoughtful about the tools we let into our lives. What may seem like an inconsequential decision - like downloading an app or making a small purchase - may end up being one that affects how you spend your time for years to come. This isn’t to say all modern day tools are bad, just that it’s important to think about how they align with your objectives.
